  • sorry to hear this. cancer is rotten.  My husband was diagnosed with bowel cancer feb of this year which has spread to his liver . lung and lymph nodes. we are blessed cos we have a local charity called starthrowers, they helped us immensley as hubbys prognosis is bleak.  However the oncologist there said curamed (buy online) which has been proven to shrink tumours, vitamin D to help with the immune system, good mouth wash ie corsodyl (my thing) to help with baceria in the mouth to prevent infection.  Also, me here, no proven research, thieves oil to prevent infection - it is called that coz during the plague rogues lundered the dead and vunerable and survived and also milk thistle which should help the liver to digest the toxins from chemo.  I dont know whether its good or not, but I am trying everything to keep my hubby here with me. m

Hi Para ...... and welcome to the forum.  Your oncologist can arrange for you to have a Neulasta (pegfilgrastim) injection which will increase your WBC.  I am given one after every chemo infusion.

Can I also suggest that you 'google' Nanoknife.  It is not available on the NHS at this present time but is an ablation technique that is used on inoperable/non-resectable tumours which are located on / or are abutting an artery. I have had the procedure in my liver and was told by the radiologist that it is proving to be very successful in pancreatic disease. If I can help with any info regarding the procedure please let me know.  Max x

  • Hello paramjitjajmann,

Welcome to our forum!  I don't think we have had many pilots so far on our forum. You must have seen some amazing things flying all over the world.

I just wanted to add that the best thing to do is to discuss any supplements you are thinking of taking or diet plans with your doctor or medical team as sometimes these can interact with your particular treatment. They are in the best position to advise you on this!

    Best wishes,
