My mum

My mum was diagnosed with breast cancer last Thursday (16th July) she had a lump under her arm & one on her breast, she had 4 mammograms & an ultrasound done on the Tuesday & we were informed on the 16th that she was to go for an MRI which she had yesterday (22nd July) we received the news today that they now want her to go for a ct & bone scan!! I am now terrified but the Dr informed us this was just a precaution......should we be worried??

  • Hello Mols,

I thought I would just pop by and say hello, welcoming you to our friendly community. I am sorry to hear about your mum's diagnosis. It does sound though like she is in excellent hands as they are acting very quickly. How did the MRI go on the 22nd of July? It seems that they are being very thorough which is a good thing. If you have any questions though, don't hesitate to ring our lovely nurses on this free number 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Fingers crossed the CT and bone scan goes well. Please let us know as soon as you get the results.

Best wishes and best of luck to your mum during this stressful time,
