Hi

I was diagnosed with Leukemia on Saturday I dont know much more than that untill I have a bone marrow biopsythough I have been told it is unlikely to be acute myeloid Lukemia. My daughter who is 42 was diagnosed with an agressive breast and lymph node cancer in January so you could say its a double wammy.

    Welcome to Cancer Chat, I am so sorry to hear of your double dose of bad news. I have Non Hodgekins Lymphoma, another form of blood cancer. I believe that Lukemias, like Lymphomas, have two grades, aggressive and non aggressive and subdisivions in between. Beyond that I don't know much about Lukemia. Although once all the tests are done and you have a treatment plan things do seem to slot into place. Hopefully someone will come along with more knowledgs than me soon.
