  • Sending u best wishes for tomorrow hope you get some good news xxxxxxxxx

  • I had stage 2 lobular breast cancer (lymp node involvement), and remember being at the same stage as you and being very scared about what would happen to me.  I and most people I have talked to in this situation felt that once the treatment started it felt as you were doing something and felt slightly better.  I know, people are different, but chemo for me was very doable.  I thought everyone who had chemo was very poorly.  After the first week, I felt o.k. and carried on with normal life for two weeks, before going back for the next round.  Radiotherapy did not affect me at all.

It has now been almost 3 years since I was first diagnosed and feel physically well.  It has been difficult to come to terms with mentally, but I am getting there.  It may be a cliche but time is a great healer for some.

    Treatment is very doable.

Take care and I am thinking of you at this time.

  • I was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer in June 2014, electing to have a mastectomy and brachial lymph node removal, followed by chemotherapy. Because endometrial cancer later suspected, I had a radical hysterectomy in February, so am only now due to start 3 weeks of radiotherapy. I just wanted to say -be aware that for a while, your life will be on hold, so be kind to yourself, do things that make you happy-read , watch trashy films and just go with it. But most importantly, surround yourself with people who love you and make you laugh. There is light at the end of this and you'll learn a lot about yourself. My thoughts are with you, and I wish you all the best.
  • Sal I've been thinking of u all day wats ur news xxxx

  • Hiya guys Been for some results today and still a little confused. I have a 4cm tumor but it has a 3cm tail to it they are unsure about the tail they don't know if it's normal breast tissue fight g the tumor or if it's cancerous hence another biopsy I have also had another biopsy on the second mass bit the surgeon seems to think that's glandular tissue which would be great. U I have been told I will need 18 weeks chemo and also radiotherapy now and herceptin injections. I am back on Friday for result of biopsy and to talk me thru chemo z I am going to have a minor operation to have a Hickman line in my chest for the chemo to be administered and also bloods to be taken. I have been told also I may need a mastectomy or lumpectomy dependant on results I have decided tjho if I need mastectomy I will have a double with reconstruction if possible so again waiting on results x thank u all for ur kind words and my thoughts are with u all x x
