I have only just joined this and have noticed you will be in similar with me. I have been told I have been diagnosed with Cervical Cancer with CGIN type(but at early stage), which is more aggressive and will have to go under hysterectomy this Saturday. I have been told also that I don't have to have any Chemo or Raditherapy. I will go under keyhole(robotic) surgery, which I'm soooo scared.

I don't know what side effect I will have after this surgery. I'm sure you will be ok as I have been told without Chemo or Radiotherapy you will be absolutely fine. So chin up and keep positive.

You are not alone that have to go through with this. Keep strong and keep smiling ok.

I will let you know how I'm getting on once I have mind done.

I can thankfully say No 10 years later!

I do worry it is still a possibility but what can you do.

I ended up having both Chemo and some Radiotherapy and the side effects still bother me.

Damage to the Bladder took a while to get sorted. Bone pain which was diagnosed as Fibromyalgia and recently diagnosed as having Arthritis in both hips. Maybe connected or not - who knows really but here's to hoping for another 10 years. Good Luck!
