cytotron, rfqmr and insurance

Howdy,

I'm a Dutch bloke. My father is suffering from pancreas cancer. The hospital said no treatment options available anymore.

So we checked the internet for other, better treatment options, and found the cytotron treatment in Leiden, Holland. References are positive. It's high tech and certified by the EU. However, its not part (yet) of public health care coverage. And the insurance company says it only wants to cover the expenses after the therapy has been offered two years (I don't know why they say so, and I don't think it is a true argument (it's a lame excuse)).

Anyway, has any of you experience with the therapy? And has any of you experience with the insurance coverage? Based on these experiences I hope to have good arguments to convince the insurance company to cover the expenses.

Thanks,
