I have just had a melanoma mole removed and now they are going to scan me to see if it spread or not. I have been told to wait 4 weeks and they will contact me. I am so so scared. Sorry about this but I am sort of panicking.
Welcome to Cancer Chat. I can understand your worries in dealing with this uncertainty - it is never easy and it's something that many others here will be able to relate to.
I know the wait will be difficult - try to keep busy and focused on other things as much as possible to help keep your mind off the worries. This can of course be easier said than done.
We're always here if you need support at all, even just to write things down and as a safe space to reach out to others.
I hope you're able to get the information you need soon, and in the meantime hopefully you'll get some more replies to your post.
