ive had a mole removed from the side of my toe and the surgery and the recovery has been pretty rough and two weeks in, I still can’t walk and feel like I’ve finally turned a corner with the heating, however today I found out it came back as melanoma in situ,

I got the results over the phone and feel like it hit me like a brick so I didn’t ask many questions.

Bur what confused me is the consultant said that’s despite it been called melanoma in situ is it not cancer and it’s precancerous, and that that need to take away more skin, as a precaution. However Google ( I have health anxiety so was straight on Google) it says it is cancer, so I’m really confused and upset.

they did say that they will discuss my case in some sort of weekly meeting, but not sure what that’s for.
