My papa has been diagnosed with mouth cancer

My dad has been diagnosed with mouth cancer it has spread to much and doctors don't think the 14 hour operation is going to be successful so cemo therapy is maybe going to give him a year , im am he tbroken,  does anyone have any advice or tips for me please

    Hi   I'm sorry about your dad's diagnosis. I had a different cancer so I can't give any advice on your dad's cancer. By me replying it will put your post back to the top and hopefully someone who can help will see it. You could try posting on macmillan forum as its split into different cancer types or experiences which makes it easier to chat with people in the same situation as you. Sending hugs. Xx

    I'm sorry to hear about your dad's diagnosis and can imagine it's come as a shock. Please know that the forum is here for you whenever you need it and if you'd like some information on mouth cancer we have a lot of topics on the subject, which you can refer to at anytime. There also guidance around family, friend and carers on how best to support a loved one with cancer. Don't be afraid to lean on those close to you as well - it can sometimes help to talk things out.
