Splenic Flexure - has anyone else had cancer in this area?

unprovoked DVT in November 2025, severe iron deficiency anaemia in February 2026, colonoscopy April 2026 confirmed tumour in Splenic Flexure, meeting with surgeon to discuss either Extended Right Hemicolectomy or Left Hemicolectomy, decision will be made when surgeon gets in there with the camera, anyone else with cancer in this area?

  • Welcome to the Cancer Chat forum RPR, although I'm sorry to hear about the tumour that's been found. 

    Hopefully some of our members who have had a similar outcome will stop by soon to share their experiences and advice, but in the meantime you can find out more about surgery for colon cancer on our website.
