Call 0808 800 4040 to talk to a nurse.
One of my neighbours, who is around 80 years old, was diagnosed with prostrate cancer. He had a course of radiotherapy in November last year and he's told me he's doing well now. He's due for a check up soon and I see him out with his dog, gardening, and shopping, but I can't really comment more than that. If you're unsure that's the wrong decision for him, talk to the nurses here on the number you've been given or contact his health care team to discuss an alternative treatment. I'm sure they'll be happy to talk to you about it.
Thank you for your reply. He has decided to have radiotherapy after speaking to oncology nurse
Thank you xx
Good luck. You can do this.
You're welcome. My neighbour is doing really well after his treatment and I hope your husband will too. Take care, both of you. Gill xx
