I'm 70 and have had a lump on my upper arm for 6 to 12mths and got tired of nurses and doctors asking me what it was every time I had a BP done so I had an ultrasound scan and they said it was a cyst. With that diagnosis my GP removed it and sent it away for testing this came back and yesterday as cancerous an MCC type which i was told are rare. There was a consultant dermatologist in the surgery and he hadn't seen one in 10yrs, I'm now awaiting follow-up at hospital.
My dilemma is how to tell my wife and kids, I'm more scared of that than the cancer
