  • Hello Gailw

I'm sorry to hear that you've been diagnosed with Stage 3 B-cell lymphoma. It's understandable that you're feeling scared ahead of your treatment starting, especially as you've mentioned that you have other health issues.

I'm sure the specialists dealing with your care will have factored in your heart problems, and they wouldn't recommend treatment if they felt it was going to be too risky for your health. Hopefully things will go smoothly for you and it won't be too difficult to manage, but do make sure that you keep the treatment team and specialist nurses updated with any concerns or questions that you have. They will be best placed to help with any adjustments or additional support that you need.

In the meantime, if it would help to talk things through with one of our nurses, you're most welcome to give them a call. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information, and support they can. They're available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

I hope that you have family and friends around you who can help as you start this new treatment. Don't be afraid to ask for support if you need it.

Keep in touch Gailw and let us know how you get on. We're here for you.

    Best wishes,
