I am currently halfway through an intensive course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy after being diagnosed with small cell lung cancer which, thankfully, hasn't spread anywhere else in my body. I am also being offered PCI radiotherapy to help prevent it spreading to my brain. I am terrified how that treatment might affect me. What scares me the most is the possibility and severity of memory loss. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has undergone that treatment, any side effects experienced and any advice they can offer. Thank you.
