So worried: diagnosed with bowel cancer after having had cervical cancer in 2024

Hi I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2024 and received radiotherapy chemo and brachytherapy it was grueling and was strongly advised to have all three. I completed all and was totally exhausted, but managed to see our daughter get married which was wonderful. 
I have now been diagnosed with bowel cancer ….. I cannot believe that the treatment I had can cause this. This was never pointed out to me. I’m in bits

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. It sounds like you've been through an awful lot and I'm sure this must be a lot to process.

    I'm not sure what you've been told so far regarding next steps, but if you're waiting for more information then I hope you're able to get this soon.

    Do discuss any questions you have about your previous treatment or current situation with your doctor, as they will be best placed to advise.
