Acting like a Cancer

So today I finally had a call from my consultant about my lung biopsy....I have been waiting for an op on neck tumours since November when it was cancelled the say before due to lack of itu bed,but after having an up to date ct scan the day before,it picked up 3 lung spots, long story short, biopsy done a month ago... anyway my lung spots are same type of tumours as neck, therefore he says what were benign neck bumps last january are now acting like 'a cancer' because they have gone into my chest...

So we are now looking at  op in a few weeks, which involves removal of tumours (but not as radical as thought) with muscle from back to cover area - followed by radiotherapy once flap on neck has healed...previous surgery 16years ago left me with rods in my back and fusion and  plate to hold things together when my rods decided to snap!   Such fun!!!!

Also having embolisation before op as tumours are vascular...all scary stuff, but myself and hubby kind of feel better in a strange way, because at least we have a plan ..12months down the line from  tumour discovery...
