Newly diagnosed with prostate cancer

Was Diagnosed with prostate cancer on 29/01/2026 after Multiparametric MRI followed by Transperenial Biopsy and was put on Active Surveillance, I am 3 months shy of my 65'th birthday. My Gleason score is 3+4=7  proatate adenocarcinoma, 40% pattern 4, PSA 7.4 ng/ml ( now 9.2 ), prostate volume 45cc, T2 NO MO. My PSA level when first diagnosed in November 2025 for Bowel issues and was found to have Hypertension a short time after was 6.8 and has gone up to 9.2 on 10/02/2026. Is Active Surveillance the right choice as this rise in PSA over such a short period of time may suggest a more aggresive cancer. Was very disappointed with the Oncologist Surgeon I talked to on my telephone accessment with the Royal Hallamshire Hospital as he seemed reluctant to talk about other treatments besides Active Surveillance. Any advice would be very welcome.
