So sorry to hear that, I don’t think age will come into it, it depends on your grade and stage. I had bladder cancer 2011 and got discharged 2 years ago, mine was high grade, I had BCG treatment without any real problem. I’m also 79 now. I hope you get your results very soon as the waiting is the worst part, once you get to know your treatment and get started things don’t seem so bad. Good luck on your journey xx
It’s a small amount of TB that’s put into your bladder that’s kills the cancer off ( hopefully) give it a google it’ll tell you all about it. Also if you’re on face book there a wonderful forum called fight bladder cancer, it’s private and you have to ask to join but they have answers for everything. Hope that helps x
