Surgery on Thursday 4th and totally terrified of this new journey. Any help would be great feeling totally mentally destroyed.

I suspect that your recovery may be impdacted on how much of your lung they will remove.
My mum was diagnosed with a very small tumour in 2020 and she had a lingulectomy, where they removed a small section of her lung as opposed to a whole wedge or upper or lower lobe.
Her recovery wasnt too bad and she was pretty much back to normal after a few weeks recovery.
I'd advise speaking to your surgeon for more detail.
