TNBC Diagnosis

Hi, I have recently had a TNBC diagnoses ( in my left breast) and am trying to make sense of everything - feeling shocked and overwhelmed, trying to learn and understand all the technical language and feeling fearful of all the treatment involved. Would appreciate connecting with people who have had the treatment and have now come through at the other end . Thanks Flowergirl

  • Hey! I’m part of the TNBC also. I was diagnosed on the 15th of October. Since iv had many scans, appointments,  blood tests and even my one and only oncology appointment I felt a bit rushed like I was on a conveyer belt…..

I’m seeing a nutritionist who has given my a list of supplements along side weekly chemo for 12 weeks (with 6 weekly immunotherapy) then I go on to chemo every 3 weeks. I had my first round today and felt fine until my 6 year old started playing up at bedtime…..now I feel exhausted. I’m hoping side effects remain low.

like you, I’m still learning, but if there is any specific you want to ask, feel free and if it’s something iv come across or know, I’ll sure reply xx
