SLNB results - is 14 weeks too long to wait for these results after have a stage1 b mole removed?

Is 14 weeks an unreasonable amount of time to wait for SLNB results following a Stage 1b mole removal .

An appointment has been sent through dated 14 weeks after the WLE and SLNB

It seems a long time to wait for such important results

  • I'm really sorry to hear how long you're having to wait for your SNLB results Kellie. This must be very frustrating.

Hopefully some of our members who have been in this position will share their stories and advice with you soon but if you would like to discuss this further with one of our cancer nurses, they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very well informed and they will do all they can to answer your questions and address your concerns.

In the meantime, we're sending you all our strength and support Kellie and we'll have our fingers crossed your results will bring good news when the time comes.

    Kind regards,
