Bowel cancer with metastasis to brain

Cant believe im writing this but a month ago my 44 year old partner diagnosed with bowel cancer with some spread to lymph nodes.  Following removal of tumour and resection of bowel with Stoma so that he could start chemo it was then found that be had a lesion in his brain discovered on CT for which he had never had any symptoms of apart from a headache immediately following his operation.  Since having further MRI scans it has uncovered further lesions over the brain.  We have been told surgery not an option due to the amount and gamma knife radiation also not an option. Chemo is apparently also unlikely to work due to the blood barrier in brain.

Have been frantically looking for more cutting edge options outside of the NHS.  Fortunately we have the money to get a consulatation. I have read up on Whole brain radiotherapy which hasnt been offered by NHS as an option?  Does anyone have any thoughts / advice / suggestions of clinics. I will try anything if there is a chance
