IM a 62 year old male in the UK. Unemployed for 4 months.Diagnosed with T2 bowl cancer. on 06/06/25 . Having operation on 11/09/25. Have applied for forms to apply for PIP.  Got forms and getting presured by government departments to fill them in NOW. But at moment im  in Pain and feeling very nauseus  all the time. but im able bodied at the moment.  So dont want to fill in forms yet.  AS i wouldnt qualify for that benefit.  But after my operation i will need to fill them in , as i will be in a bad way for possibly 3 months . can i delay them untill after my operation ?.  also can someone help to fill the forms in with me ? .
