I'm very concerned about the side effects of the Anastrozole and radiotherapy.

Hi Beu,
A very warm welcome to our forum.
How are you feeling since you started taking Anastrozole? We hear all sorts of horror stories about side-effects and I'm not going to lie, there are some, as there are for all of the hormone therapies. However, not everyone gets them, so it's a mater of waiting to see how you cope with them. Radiotherapy is now given closer together than it used to be, which makes it quite tiring to attend, but it has fewer side-effects than it used to have.
I hope that you will start your radiotherapy soon and that you'll be one of the lucky ones with no problems. I took Tamoxifen for 1 year, then Letrozole for 6½ years. I did unfortunately have side-effects, but I would do it all over again, as it has given me an extra 15 years of life so far.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
