Brain surgery - What can I expect? I don't know anyone who has had this done.

I was told totally out of the blue I have a brain tumour which has to be taken out within the month. A bit like a deer in headlights at the moment. No idea what to expect with the surgery, hospital stay and coming home at the very beginning. It’s a terrifying prospect as I don’t know anyone who had had brain surgery.

    It's completely understandable, and natural, to be feeling this way after receiving such unexpected and life changing news but you are not alone Npg as our members are here to support you and hopefully those who have had a brain tumour removed will stop by soon to share their experiences and advice.
