Is it safe to go into crowded places when having chemo
Is it safe to go into crowded places when having chemo
Hello Bonniehig,
the effects of chemo are cumatalive and the further down the treatment, the harder it becomes. So whilst at the outset it might seem to be no problem, further along it most definitely could be. Your body will have more than enough to cope with, the thought of loading a further illness on top is horrendous, so no be sensible, keep a distance from others whilst your immunity levels will be on the floor,
David
Thank you. He only started his first chemo on 30 th July Ended up in hospital the following Monday with high temp. He went to a football match yesterday which I advised against but he still went. Should I be worried
Hopefully by the timehe gets a few more sessions under his belt he will be so knackered it will be Match of the Day only, fingers crossed until then
