A very warm welcome to the forum Roni1973 although I'm sorry to hear your partner has been diagnosed with tongue cancer and for how long they've been waiting for surgery.

This information we have about cancer waiting times states that if you're based in England, Scotland or Northern Ireland then it should be no more than 2 months (62 days) wait between the date the hospital receives an urgent suspected cancer referral and the start of treatment, so it seems that target may have been missed for your partner.

Make sure your discuss your concerns with your medical team and/or GP so you can get an update on what's going on and how much longer it may take for a surgery date to come through.
