Hi everyone I was diagnosed yesterday with soft tissue sarcoma yesterday and consultant told me the only cure is surgery. Unfortunately due to my many health issues heart disease being the main one and since April have been unwell with chronic anemia affecting my heamaglobin which resulted in two blood transfusions. I was told by the consultant that he can't operate until I get better but he will arrange in the meantime time a four week course of radiotherapy to freeze the tumor to stop it spreading and then re assess me. I was wondering if anyone else has been through a similar experience with a sarcoma cancer which I was told are very rare. Thanks for reading my post.
