How do I get through this? Waiting for results of second biopsy. Been told it's likely going to be bad. Don't think I'm strong enough to cope with all this

Hi after a 2 years or being told i had haemorrhoids by gp , i have had colonoscopy, ct, mri, biopsy then today a second biopsy which they are fairly sure its not good news but i have to wait 2 weeks for results and next mdt meeting to work out a plan , not handling it well and ive always been a poor sleeper but have had no more than 1 hour a night for weeks , dont think im strong enough to cope with all this , dont have a lot of people around me for support

    1. Sorry your feeling like this. The waiting is the worst bit. I couldn't sleep waiting for results. I made myself read book. Difficult to concentrate but a distraction. I'm sure most of us have gone through waiting. You are not alone. I am sure they will be able to sort the cancer for. It's rollercoaster of emotions. Hope you get some support on here. You will be stronger than you think. Hope you can find the strength to do this. Macmillan are really good. You can ring them in the day. Email anytime.  They answer quickly and they are very supportive. You've got this. I wish you all the best.
