I am so sorry your dad has had such a negative experience in the lead up to his bladder cancer diagnosis - 8 weeks is a long time really to get definite results and it must have been such a nerve racking time for you all. You are right though to shift your focus on supporting him and ensuring that from now on everything goes as well as possible for him without any other blips or delays. 

I can imagine it is so frustrating for you to be told that they are not going to treat him when he is fit and healthy - you did well to request another face to face meeting and it will be an opportunity to put your points across and I hope that you get somewhere. You are also always entitled to seek a second opinion and you will find more information on our website on getting a second opinion. 

I hope that the meeting is helpful and that they will be able to offer your dad some treatment. We are keeping everything crossed for you.
