In situ breast cancer hormone negative - mum will be having a lumpectomy and radiotherapy. Has anyone else had this treatment and how did you get on?

Advice from anyone who has been through the treatment.

mum diagnosed with high grade in situ breast cancer hormone negative.

treatment lumpectomy 8-9cm area (she has large F breasts doctor said it will take it down to about a C or small D) followed by approx 1 week of radiotherapy 

No other treatment expected

anyone had similar and how was your recovery
