How did your planning appointment go at the hospital yesterday? I hope that the team were able to answer any questions you have and offer you some reassurance about your upcoming treatment.
We have quite a number of members who have been through treatment for throat cancer. I'd suggest having a look through this thread and maybe posting a message there. Hopefully you will be able to connect with some of those members and they will share their experiences and words of support and advice with you.
