what’s next??

  • Hello SteffD

I'm sorry to hear that you've recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer. It's understandable that you may be feeling unsure about how to react to this news and what it might mean for you.

We have some information about prostate cancer on our website that may be helpful to you. What have the specialists said is the next step? Are they planning to request more investigations or are they discussing treatment options? Hopefully you won't have to wait too long to hear what the next steps will be.

We know that for many people this period of uncertainty and waiting for treatment to start can be hard. I wonder if you might find it helpful to talk things through with one of our team of nurses. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can. They can also help you think about any questions you might want to ask at your next appointment. If you'd like to talk with them, they're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

Keep in touch SteffD and let us know how you get on.

    Best wishes,
