I'm sorry to hear that you're currently undergoing some tests to stage your colon cancer diagnosis. We know that for many people, this period of waiting and uncertainty can be really difficult. 

Why not give the specialist's secretary a call and ask when you may have an update on the results? Or if you've been given contact details for a specialist cancer nurse, then you can give them a ring. 

How long you will have to wait for news will depend on lots of factors. If it would help to chat things through with one of our nurses while you're waiting for news, you can call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
