Active hypermetabolic metastatic lesion in the right lobe of the liver and lymph nodes.

Hi All,

In the latest pet ct scan for my dad it mentions :

Active hypermetabolic metastatic lesion in the right lobe of the liver and lymph nodes.

He had been diagnosed with RCC kidney cancer in 2015 and had it operated then in 2019 cancer operation was done on the lungs.

There were no lesions in may 2024 scan but now the above has appeared. Would really appreciate if someone is able to guide what should be the next step.

    It's very difficult to advise on your question as really only the medical team involved in your dad's care can do this. I'm not sure what appointments or next steps may be in place, or perhaps you are waiting to hear more about this.
