Hello Goodman
I'm sorry to hear that your mother-in-law has been diagnosed with oesophageal cancer, which has spread to her liver. It's understandable that this may be an anxious time for you all and that you may have questions about this.
We have information on our website about oesophageal cancer, including information about advanced oesophageal cancer, which may be of help to you. Do talk with the health professionals involved with your mother-in-law about the support and care that will be available to her. Hopefully, they will be able to give you all some reassurance that she will be well supported.
If you'd like to talk things through with one of our nurses, you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can.
Best wishes,
Jenn
