I'm sorry you are having all this delay & stress although it's good that any issue with your heart has been found, as any drug treatment you will be offered after your surgery can sometimes cause side effects.

I'm going to send you a friend request so that, if you accept it, we can chat in detail, but for now I know that the Breslow thickness & it being nodular is causing you great concern. I can't speak from experience as my primary melanoma was very shallow (1b) but I do know from other patients that melanoma is a very unpredictable cancer. I know nodular patients who have had no spread and those that have - I know patients like myself with under 1mm depth who have had a spread & some with a melanoma 6, 7, 8 +mm depth that have no spread. So although it's difficult at the moment, try not to focus on it being a foregone conclusion that yours will have spread.

Thank you Angie, for your reply and positive support, that was reassuring to read. I really thought a 5.6 Breslow thickness could have the worst outcome.

I know it's still not good but at least I can focus on hopefully it was caught early and be more positive about it.

I've had my wle SLNB, it all seemed to go well, only one lymph node was removed, from my armpit area, now it's a 4_6 week wait for results.

Right now 5 days after surgery I find I am sleeping a lot and so easily, is that to be expected would you know?

Also is just 1 lymph node removal an indicator at all?

Such an anxious time waiting . . .for results . . .my heart goes out to everyone in the same position.
