Good to hear from you I was diagnosed Dec 2024 . Given weeks to live am here just about how are you
We are still here!! Beating the odds.
I was told to go home and sort my affairs. It’s tough going, I went on Durvalumab immunotherapy which is ongoing, Cisplatin and Gemsitoben Chemo which completed end of August. Forgive my spelling.
I’m lucky to have responded to treatment so far. I don’t give up easily and mentally refuse to believe it’s even happening but body reminds me. I’m 52 years old and have a teenager to think about.
How are you doing? Have you had any treatment planned in?
Sending you a hug.
I refused any treatment chemo etc was only given weeks in.this world so didn't want to waste it feeling ill .Surgeon put stents in so far up to this point seems to be working Am the same know has to ened at some point but until I feel really ill am not ready to give up yet .. Had a nurse from the hospice visit yesterday ( am south coast UK) was good to talk freely with someone who understands feel quite good today because was able to unload to her .Hugs back at you keep positive
Hi, I’m glad you had a good day and was able to offload a bit.
I get your reasoning for not going for treatment, it’s been harsh and tiring and putting my family through it has been hard. It has however bought me precious time. It’s a rollercoaster but taking each day as it comes. Keep rolling!!
Im north of London - home county, looking forward to some warm sun next week and sitting in the garden.
Hope you stay feeling well for longest time
Thanks you too . Must think positive for as long possible. Long story when went into hospital off the street was really poorly. However surgeon. Put two stents in so far so good . Saw message on my NHS app stents should be removed so will check that out . My family want me to pass over at home my Hospice nurse said better off in Hospice so now am torn
