Neuroendocrine Cancer

Just been diagnosed, any advice?

  • Hello Mariee1 and I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis,

Your medical team will be on hand to support, so don't be afraid to raise any questions or concerns with them. I see my colleague has shared the neuroendocrine cancer pages in a previous post. I hope this has been helpful in some way. There is also section on living with neuroendocrine cancer, which focuses on ways of coping, diet and support available.

    All the best to you,

  • I'm making my first post in reply. Apparently it's one of the worst, but, but I was told just over two years ago that I was unlikely to have a year. No surgery, chemo, two different times, radiotherapy in between the two courses of drugs. Be positive if you can, it helps, I believe. I'm feeling more alive now than I was five years ago, with no cancer, but then the weight loss has been significant, like 140lbs of fat gone.
