Hi everyone, So sorry if I waffle on...Briefly I had a hysterectomy/ovaries removed 15yrs ago. Not taken Hrt as lumpy breasts. Over the last 18 months I noticed a thickening to the entrance of my vagina, so sex is extremely painfull. I have seen gynaecology, no Cancer or litchen sclerosis. Tried eastrogen creams etc - no help. I then had an infection just after Xmas 24 and put on antibiotics, this has now cleared up. Gynaecology in the meantime referred me back to the GP as they say my swab test was clear. Turns out the one swab they took at the time was labelled incorrectly so I was discharged without a further appointment. I have managed to get re referred, but God knows how long this will take.

My question is please, has anyone found a numbing cream of sorts I can apply to ths area to help reduce the pain when having sex?

Hrt spray or tablets are not an option at the moment as I am having tests at cardiology.
