Still no answers

After discussing treatment and going for a PET scan I had a plan in place to start chemo this Friday, this has now been pulled as the PET scan showed no spread in lymph nodes but ‘something’ showed up in my lungs and liver. After pressing for an answer my consultant said it could be a secondary cancer.

im so confused they said they can’t confirm anything until biopsy results come back and everything is delayed by a few weeks.

Has anyone had a similar experience or heard of this happening? Is there still hope I can be cured with chemo?

Sorry about your diagnosis. Being told you have cancer is a head f**k in my opinion and you go through so many different emotions. I understand all the waiting for tests and results and treatment plans is so hard and double hard when they change things.  Your medical team will be able to give you a clearer picture once all your results are in but in my opinion there is always hope. Sending hugs. Xx
