New breast cancer diagnosis…waiting to hear what type

I am 48 and just been diagnosed with breast cancer although I am waiting for biopsy results to hear what type. Both the consultant and radiologist who did the biopsy said they were ‘really worried’ and ‘concerned’. I get results in 2 weeks and am a mum to an 12 year old boy. I am absolutely terrified. Can’t sleep or eat. Any advice would be very appreciated

    I found that so far the waiting for results is the worst part of the process.  Once I knew my diagnosis and I had a treatment plan in place it felt better.  I have started off with chemotherapy and so far it hasn’t been as bad as I thought it would be.  I hope this helps.
