  • Hello carrielew

I'm sorry to hear that your Mum has recently undergone a biopsy and now following those results, some further tests have been requested. It's not uncommon for doctors to ask for more tests to be done before deciding on the best way forward with treatment so try not to worry too much about this.

We know that this period of waiting and uncertainty can be difficult for many people. Having unanswered questions and facing the unknown can be a worrying time. If you think it may help to talk things through with one of our team of nurses you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can.

I hope that your Mum doesn't have to wait too long for the additional tests and results. Keep in touch carrielew and let us know how she gets on.

Sending you both my best wishes,
