Seeking Advice on Consulting a UK Oncologist for a Patient Overseas

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out to see if anyone here has experience with seeking oncological advice from a UK-based specialist for a patient residing overseas.

A relative of mine has recently received a cancer diagnosis while living in another country, and we’re exploring options to get a second opinion or additional advice from an oncologist in the UK. The patient is currently not residing in the UK, so I’m wondering if it’s possible to present their medical case remotely and ask for guidance on diagnosis and treatment options.

Has anyone gone through a similar process, or do you know if UK oncologists offer consultations for international patients in this way? If so, how would I go about arranging it, and are there any specific requirements or considerations to keep in mind?

Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance!
