I'm sorry to hear about your husband's diagnosis. Undoubtedly this must have been incredibly difficult news to receive and, understandably, you're both feeling terrified by what the future holds. 

Has the hospital said when you may hear back with news of the histology results? Hopefully, it won't be too long before you have those answers and the team will be able to offer some reassurance about the next steps in your husband's care.

A couple of people I know one a lifelong friend have incurable cancer she has bladder cancer which spread to the lung which she has chemo tablets for and 3 monthly scans ,the other has Colon cancer which spread to the liver both around the 5 year mark now ,the one with Colon cancer was having immunotherapy but that has now stopped and alternative therapies .

Thank you for this. We just can’t get past the word incurable but your reply has given me some hope x
