today I had My colposcopy and after taking a small biopsy I started to bleed a lot. I was prepped for theatre however they managed to stop the bleeding. I then found out I have a large tumor on the neck of my womb and now waiting a mri scan and histology reports. For months I have been back and forth to the doctors telling him About my back pain and irregular heavy bleeding. 

any advice or similar stories would be welcome

    I also had a colposcopy today. I had a hysteroscopy 2 weeks ago and she saw a lot of what looked like polyps but when she tried to take biopsy she realised it was more serious.  Got my results yesterday basically confirming i have cervical cancer and her colleague did colposcopy today where he saw the tumor (in the same place as yours) except he thinks it has probably spread. So I'm waiting now for a pep scan and mri scan. He told me that they can't operate and just give me a hysterectomy if it has spread. So we will await results and they will decide on care. 

    I feel completely devastated. Numb, angry, wishing it was all a dream. How are you feeling?

    I feel like it gasnt all sank in yet. I know these next few weeks for us are going to be full of anxiety but  at least when we get the results we will know the next steps to take.

    Yeah, you're right it will be a scary few weeks. I really hope you can just have surgery x
