Squamous Cell Carcinoma - Vuvlar / VIN related

Hello everyone,

I recently received a diagnosis of Squamous Cell Carcinoma after undergoing a wide local excision due to a lump. Six months ago, a biopsy revealed VIN2/3, and this news has come as a shock to both me and my gynaecologist.

I'm currently awaiting further tests to determine if the cancer has spread to my lymph nodes. Thankfully, it seems to be in the early stages, so I'm trying to stay positive.

Honestly, I'm still processing everything, and I feel a bit overwhelmed. What should I expect moving forward? Will I be assigned a cancer nurse to help guide me through this? I received the diagnosis over the phone and have an appointment with my gynaecologist next week for more information.

I would really appreciate any insights or support from those who have been in a similar situation. Thank you.
