Hi all,

Two months ago i was told I have Leukaemia, out of the blue in A&E after a blood test to see why my arm was numb and tingling.

Since then and multiple different test and scan's, I am waiting for the results of the biopsy and i do hope they got a good sample as i really don't want to do that again.

My next consultation is Jan 3rd so not long to find out if they still believe me to have CML.

I have been put on 100mg Dasatinib since last Friday and managing the side affects.

Typically now my family have all caught the flu so, its much like covid protocol at home now with masks etc.

Not sure how quick these pills stop the bad bits happening and if i am compromised to the flu?
Ironically i had a flu jab in October before this started so not sure if it still helps protect me but fingers crossed.
