I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis, but I am glad to hear that you feel so positive, because it has been caught early. It should all prove to be very successful. When your tissue is removed at the time of surgery, your lymph nodes will be sent away to be tested. It is always an anxious wait to find out if they are all clear, but here's hoping that they will be!

Hi Joamine. Do you take medication. I have been put on letrozole  .. I hate medication  don't even take  paracetamol.  

Not a problem! My wife had dye for a CT Scan of chest and abdomen a few weeks ago and, only last week, a Gamma Bone Scan with Radiotracer. I go with her. Lots of people down at the cancer centre and we have a chat whilst waiting. She said she couldn't notice anything. The only thing you have to do is drink more water than usual afterwards to flush the dye/tracer out of your bloodstream. You will be fine!

I took Tamoxifen for the first year. When the second cancer was discovered, I changed to Letrozole, which I took for 6½ years. I don't like taking medication either, but decided to do so, if it was going to save my life.

Hi there is you’ve had biopsy the tracker is similar procedure. The dye isn’t fun but I just kept nervous talking to the nurse to get me through. I think the anxiety is also caused by the unknown. I had my lumpectomy 3 weeks ago and am back to work next week. This forum has helped and I’ve got a couple of people that are on same timeline as me so we have been sending private chats. Have you got family friend or work mate that can go with you. Sometimes the sitting and waiting to be called doesn’t help either
