Hey everyone, my first time posting, I’m going out of my mind with worry, went for a routine (first time) mammogram on November 17th, got a letter asking me to go back on Wednesday 11th December.

Had another mammogram, ultrasound and a biopsy from right breast and armpit…I asked if it’s suspicious the doctor said yes…she also said the mass in your breast is not a cyst…I said could it be cancer she replied that’s what I’m looking for..she also found a large mass in my armpit buried deep in the tissue, my lymph nodes a very large she said.

Been given an appointment to get the results on January 2nd, I’m literally going out of my mind with worry, I can’t eat, sleep or concentrate on anything other than thinking the worst !!! She also put a marker clip into my breast? 
I have a wonderful supportive husband, children family and friends but wanted to chat here as I’m sure others know what I’m going through…I’m 52 next week x
